940 Grant Hill Rd. Coventry, CT 06238 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom $1300.00 per month Rented 8/1/18 I'm not afraid of a tricky rental! In this case, I had a couple of Uconn Students looking for off campus housing for this school year. Since they are young, full-time college students, their part-time income and very new credit history did not make for a super strong rental application package. Cue the parents! Getting the parents to agree to co-sign was easy, getting the landlord to agree to accept a co-signer for both tenants was a bit challenging, getting all four total applicants to review, sign and initial the lease was almost impossible! But we got it done right in time! I'm sure these students will get a lot of studying done in their awesome new rental!

Yesterday was another great fundraiser for Alzheimer's at Parkway Pavilion! Live music, a barbecue dinner, raffle prizes and quality time with friends and family were all on the menu and we all had so much fun! A big thank you as always to everyone from Parkway who all work so hard to put on these great events for the residents, their loved ones and for a good cause!
87 W Shore Rd. Enfield, CT 06082 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom $230,000.00 Closed 7/27/18 I'm extremely proud of this sale! This house was listed for sale twice with other agents last year and after it expired the second time in early 2018, the universe connected the seller and me. I was not the only agent this savvy seller interviewed when she was ready to try selling the property again this spring. So when she told me I had come out on top in the listing interviews, I knew the pressure was on BIG time to sell this house! I delivered everything I promised and was rewarded with an offer that was accepted after only 4 days on the market!
A friend recently sent me the cartoon above for the irony and unbeknownst to them, I had recently gotten a real estate related tattoo. Which makes it extra funny. Tattoo TV shows have led a lot of folks to believe that every single thing we tattoo on our bodies has to be profound and deeply meaningful. That there should be a narrative attached to each image just incase someone happens to ask you what your tattoo "means". I hate to be a bubble burster here, but sometimes a tattoo is just a tattoo. And if you want one, you don't have to wait for your great aunt Sylvia to buy the farm in order to memorialize her on your skin in a way she wouldn't have wanted any how. That being said, I still support a meaningful tattoo, and I even have some. I've marked a few milestones permanently and even have a tribute or two to loved ones who still walk this earth (or did at the time). The latest addition to my collection is the smallest tattoo I've ever gotten but as I'm thinking about it now... it packs the biggest punch if you're looking for meaning. In 2017 I decided to leave my full time career in the tattoo industry to pursue my work in real estate full time. I worked in tattooing for 17 years, that's most of my working adult life! It was a difficult decision to make but it was the right one. To commemorate the transition I would obviously need a new tattoo. I decided to get a small key on middle finger (symbolism intended). But who would do it? Cue Justin Markure at Body Graphics Tattoo in South Windsor, CT. Justin and I have been connected through work in tattooing for years, and in 2017 he and his wife became real estate clients when they bought their first home with me. So now he's my client, I'm his client, Justin is wildly talented and even though I don't have a lot of room left, I'm looking forward to getting a much larger tattoo from him next. Check him out!
I've been working very hard all summer so I'm super proud of this acknowledgment! Thanks to EXIT Above and Beyond for all the support! Now excuse me please, I'm getting back to work!
123 Belaire Circle Windsor Locks, CT 06096 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom $126,000.00 Closed on 8/3/18 This was my very first not-so-short sale. They should really call them LONG sales instead of short sales. My incredibly patient client made an offer on this house in October of 2017. That's right folks, it took 10 long months for this SHORT sale to close. My client was rewarded for his saintly patience with a good house in a great neighborhood for a very low price. And he's going to make his good house great in no time with a little sweat equity. So if you've got the patience it takes to wait out the banks, buying a short sale property may be worth looking into. If you are on any kind of timeline at all... not so much.
I sincerely had a great time getting to know my client and the listing agent as we all rode the short-sale-approval-process rollercoaster together. Everyone involved did their best to stay positive and (at least pretend to) not get frustrated by the process. Questions about what a short sale is? Just ask! 9F Reggie Way East Windsor, CT 06016 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom $184,000.00 Closed 7/26/18 Downsizing isn't always about wanting a smaller home. Sometimes it's about wanting less maintenance or a lower overhead cost. My client recently sold her single family house and purchased a condo with the proceeds from the sale. She ended up with more bathrooms, lower bills and fewer worries! That's a win, win, win in my book!
These have been popping up in my social media feeds lately and they never fail to get me all warm and fuzzy. 155 Papermill Rd. Westfield, MA 01085 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom was $219,900.00 now $210,000.00 This Westfield ranch is not to be missed! The eat-in kitchen was recently updated and features a breakfast bar and is open to the living area. The bathroom has a brand new heated tiled floor and vanity. Three good sized bedrooms. Hardwood floors throughout the house. The basement is partially finished adding some nice additional space. The level private yard is fully fenced in. With a double driveway and one car garage, you'll have plenty of room to park. The roof is very young roof, just 3 years old. For questions or showing appointments, contact me today!

Is there a better way to spend a Tuesday night? A little trip to Boston, some cocktails & chicken wings with friends followed by a very sweet live set from one of your favorite bands? I'd say this was one of the best Tuesdays ever.
They've only got like two shows left on this tour so if you missed them on this run, you missed out! But, they have been uploading live video tour journals to their instagram so if you haven't seen those, go check them out. The videos are so good it may help you get over it missing the live show. As a fan, I've been loving these!
Thanks to GJ for having us! Can't wait to see you again!
