"I hope this letter is able to accurately describe just how spectacular of a real estate agent Jessica Martin truly is, and how easy it was to work with her!
Jessica was referred to us by a friend who said "I've got the perfect agent for you. She's covered in tattoos, you'll love her!" You can't say no to that kind of reference. Jessica came to our house for first meeting to A - get to know us and what we want for our next home, but also B - to give advice on things around the old place that we could do to increase our sale price. She strongly advised that our home would sell quickly with a few small improvements (in this crazy seller's market) and to find our next home before putting the current one up for sale. Little did we know just how right she would end up being about literally everything! It was a long process with a wide search area, spanning Western MA from Northampton to East Longmeadow and everywhere in between. Though Jessica is based in Northern CT, never once did we get the impression she didn't know exactly where she was going at all times. She knew all about the surrounding area of each house we wanted to see, gave great advice on things to look for while at each place, and never was so much as 1 minute late for an appointment. She even met us on Mother's Day in between our own family visits! One time, the same day in which we saw a home appear online - she got us in! - which was unfortunately still too late in this crazy market. Jessica rode the rollercoaster with us the whole way, and even convinced us to stay on the ride after a couple of hard disappointments. When we finally had an offer accepted, Jessica walked us through the entire process clearly. She recommended a great home inspector and made things as simple as can be. She urged us to make confident decisions, and we could, behind her. Now it was time to sell! We put our home on the market on a Wednesday with an open house scheduled for that Saturday. At the last minute before listing, Jessica did extra work and advised us to raise the selling price by $10k based on more recent local comparisons. We were hesitant because we did not want this to delay the sale at all; to carry two mortgages for more than a month was not in the plans, but we went with her advice. OUR OPEN HOUSE WAS FROM 11:00-2:00 AND WE WERE SIGNING AN OFFER AGREEMENT BY 5:30!! A special shoutout to fellow agent Miranda Gonthier for her assistance at the Open House!
