I love when a client makes a decision to invest in their future by purchasing a multi-family home to occupy while they save up another down payment to use on their next home purchase!  When you own and occupy a multi-family house you can lower your own monthly expense output by applying rent collected to your mortgage.  Then you can put more money into savings each month allowing you to hit your next goal that much sooner!  It's a slow but sure way to future financial success!  Congratulations to this smarty-pants!  May you build an empire!

I made friends with this guy today.  He was very keen to show off his toy, less inclined to share it.  We had a brief game of tug.  He won.  I thanked him for introducing himself to me and I was on my way.  

Meet 6 Elm Terrace!  A very cool, yet very challenging house to sell!  I represented the buyer here and we struggled through some inspection issues, appraisal issues and now post-closing issues.  Thankfully the listing agent and seller were great to work with and helpful with problem solving.  So we'll lay the blame on the contractors outside of our control and leave it at that!  LOL.  In the end, my client has a very cool antique house that was tastefully updated and is just what she needed!  

Meet Jeremy and Debbie!  If you know me, you know that my favorite people come from Waterbury.  So it was a pleasure to help these two make their move from Waterbury up to the north and west to a new Watertown address!  No more renting for these smart and savvy homebuyers!  Their new house is gorgeous and in a fantastic location.  The market is still crazy enough that they had to bid aggressively to win the war on this one but not SO crazy that they had to waive inspections.  We were able to negotiate a much needed septic repair and that makes me feel positive about current market conditions.  Congratulations Jeremy and Debbie!  I'll be stopping by for a drink soon!
