'Tis the season for giving thanks...

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and this year I am thankful for my family, my friends, my health and my success
in this crazy, turbulent real estate market!  And for this beautiful artwork by Helen Kennedy of @zazzcorp!

Meet Keren and Brendan!  These guys are my favorites!  We've been together since their real estate beginning!  From the condo they rented when they first moved in together to buying their first home, selling their first home and now buying their forever home!  In Simsbury!  I'm ecstatic for them.  With the rocky road that is the real estate market right now, they almost gave up their search to try again another time.  But then THIS house was listed for sale.  THE ONE.  It  was back on the market after the previous buyer under contract backed out due to an unsatisfactory home inspection.  That buyer's decision to walk away gave Keren and Brendan the opportunity to walk into the home they'd been hoping for in their dream location.  With a brand new septic tank and very large electrical upgrade the price we negotiated feels like a steal!  Thanks to the universe for providing what this family needed right in time for baby #2!  And thanks to Keren and Brendan for trusting me and choosing me time and again!  Congratulations! 

Meet Linda!  Linda decided it was time to make the BIG move from VT back to her home state of CT.  I was able to put her in good hands by connecting her with one of my favorite referral agents to help her sell her house in VT.  Once that was taken care of we started our search for a new house in CT.  Linda knew what she wanted and made me a short list of houses she wanted to see.  We looked at them all, but would you believe she ended up buying the very first one we looked at?  She knew it was her favorite and went for it!  It checked all the boxes. It's in a great location in the area she wanted to be in.  The property is beautiful.  It has an oversized garage, updated kitchen and all the space she needs to entertain her family now that she is back in the area.  I couldn't be happier with how this worked out!  Congratulations, Linda! 

Another smart seller has cashed out at the tail end of the wild seller's market!   Rising interest rates had us a bit worried about whether or not we could push the sales price to the max here.  But my client had made such a beautiful home both inside and out, there should not have ever been much doubt about this beauty selling quickly and for more than we imagined.  Congratulations to the new owner who now has such a beautiful home!  And to my seller who can relax now and wait to see what happens in the next chapter.  I'm thinking lake house!  

Meet Alex and Taylor!  With prices high and interest rates constantly rising, these guys worked tenaciously to secure a new family home before things got too crazy.  We saw quite a few houses and made some offers that didn't quite stick.  But that was all for the best when we finally found this gem in the woods!  Over 1000 SF?  Check!  A garage for Alex?  Check!  And my favorite part?  Not only did we get them some good yard space for their family, we got them a total of 2.5 acres!  Room to roam for dogs, chickens and child?  CHECK!  I'm super glad I was able to help this family find the one.  They were fun to work with, had realistic goals and worked hard to meet them.  Their reward was more than we thought possible when we started looking.  Congratulations guys!  Enjoy the woods and your new unscented water!  

Meet Josh!  Josh is now one of the most evil of all my young home-buying geniuses!  Under 30 and he just bought his SECOND house without selling the first one!  That's right ladies and gentleman, Josh is now land-lording over his multifamily home from a distance.  On his to-do list now?  Settling in to this sweet raised  ranch and setting himself up for a bright financial future!    Congratulations, Josh!  Well played!  Let's do this again soon!
