After the extensive and extended shut down of tattooing in CT, my husband Sean started to get a little stir crazy pacing around our tiny house.  Enter Joe Vegas!  Sean's friend Joe owns an amazing tattoo shop in Atlanta, GA.  Georgia lifted their restrictions way sooner than Connecticut did and the folks in the greater Atlanta area decided that getting a tattoo was a top priority.  Joe found himself overwhelmed with work and understaffed with tattooers. Knowing Sean was in a state that was still shut down, he invited him to come on down to Georgia.  We Martins are always up for a challenge and/or adventure so off Sean went!  

Thunderbolt Tattoo is the premier tattoo shop in Atlanta and it looks like business will be booming for the foreseeable future.  Sean will be staying put for now so if you are in the Atlanta area, go see Sean and "get the tattoo!"

I was recently spotted in the wild on a "day off".   In these candid photos I was captured doing what I love to do best on my days off... work.  At least my office for the day came with a view and the company was some of the best in the world in both dog and human forms.  

Above is my friend Maven, a pandemic puppy who has no idea what it means to live a dog's life.  Her life's a beach.  Literally.  She gets to play in the sand, walk on the water's edge and watch the sun set on the ocean every night.  But just because she doesn't know any different, does not mean she takes any of it for granted.  

Here she is reminding me that I should not ignore the beauty around me just because I have work to do.  Thank you for the reminder, Maven.  Now let's hit that beach!

So happy to have been able to help this first-time landlord client!  She found her twin flame and they decided it was time stop commuting for love and time to start shacking up!  What to do when two homeowners decide to merge households?  Well, rent one, of course!  This little house had a ton of showings and finally rented to a small family who are new in town and are a perfect fit for this cozy home!  

If you know me, you know I'm a big fan of Westfield, MA!  I spent a lot of time there when my friends were in college at Westfield State and in 2016 someone gave me the crazy idea to open a bookshop downtown.  Since then I've made lots of friends in town and even though I've moved on, I still get out there as much as possible, they've got a lot going on!  Every third Tuesday of the month, I do a regular spot on the WSKB morning show WOW It's Tuesday with Bob Plasse.  After last month's show, I decided to take a jog on the Greenway while I was in town on such a beautiful morning!  I parked at Shaker Farms Country Club, which is super convenient and safe!  Then I hit the path and headed toward Southwick.  It was mostly shady and not too crowded at 8:00am and I had a fantastic run.  I highly recommend checking this section out if you like to walk, jog, run or bike.  I did about 4 miles and was very happy for the change of scenery from my regular route.  I did get startled by a good sized garter snake on the path, but we agreed we were both cool and both just kept moving.  I'm not complaining, I was there for the nature!  Do you have a favorite section of the Columbia Greenway?  Where should I hop on the path next time?  'Tis the season to get out there!

I listed this condo for sale and it immediately sold at the open house!  Which was at the very end of February...
