Meet Alena and Craig!  These guys met because they like and drive the same car.  I'm so happy they picked me to help them find a driveway to park them in!  This was one of those real estate dream jobs, the old "one and done"!  With a very large distance to cover between his and her commute, Windsor, CT was the sweet spot.  The market was so hot in Windsor they missed out on even SEEING the first three houses they liked!  So the first house we were actually able to tour is the house they bought!  Things went pretty smoothly overall and I think they are happy to have missed out on a few houses, because the home they ended up with is awesome!  I really like these guys so the only bad part about their transaction was that since we didn't look at lots of houses, we didn't get to spend that much time together!  I am looking forward to seeing them and some updates to the house soon!  Congratulations, Alena and Craig! ​

Meet Jamie and Mary!  They thought it would be a good idea to; sell their house in Colorado, move to Massachusetts, get new jobs, buy a new house and start their own business!  That all sounds crazy to me!  But they had goals and they made a plan and it's working!  These risk takers have checked all the boxes on their "move to New England" to-do list and are now busying themselves with settling in to their new lives out here.  One of the big ticket items on their next to-do list will be starting their own business, so I have to plug, Revolutionary Decks & Outdoor Living, which will be coming soon to the area to make your outdoor living dreams come true!  

Back in Colorado, Jamie and Mary both worked for an innovative deck and landscape company that was so fancy, it had it's own TV show!  The reality based home improvement show,  Mega Decks aired on the DIY Network for three seasons.  The show featured the art of outdoor living and the crew traveled the country building glorious, one-of-a-kind spaces that break the mold of backyard living.  You can see Jamie in the short clip below!  Jamie and Mary will be the new go-to contractors for this type of work in New England!  Keep an eye on their Instagram page @thesawdustreport  for updates on when you'll be able to hire them to build the outdoor space of your dreams!
