When you are in the real estate business, sometimes you'll have friends or family from out of state say "I wish you could be our realtor".  The good news is, even if we do not have our license in the state where you live, we can still help you!  Most agents have large referral networks and even if we don't already know someone in the state where you live, we can help you find an agent that will work the hardest and be the best fit for you!  This is an example of that...  

I received a call from a super friendly realtor in Alabama.  He was trying to help members of his family relocate from Indiana to Massachusetts due to a job transfer to Connecticut.  Look at all the states we just covered!  He did what we all do at first- hit up Google to find some agents in CT and MA.  Once he had a list of agents with good reviews in the area they were looking, he made some calls and did some interviews.  I'm happy to say, "I got the job!".  

Helping this family secure a place for their move north was super satisfying and I think they're going to love their new place in East Longmeadow!

Meet Steve and Liza!  I first met Steve back in 2018 when his very smart daughter Danielle bought her first house and chose me to help.  I had fun with their family then so I was delighted when Steve and Liza called me to say they were headed back to the area.  They knew what they were looking for and did not waste any time finding it.  In this market it is not uncommon for buyers to have to make offers on several different houses before they eventually get under contract.  These guys had a no nonsense approach and secured the second house we bid on!  They went for location, space and potential and got all that and more!  The home shopping and home buying process with them was super fun, a bit unorthodox and I loved every step of the way (even when they had me out of the house before 8am!).  Congratulations, Steve and Liza!  Thank you for choosing me!  

Have you been to Waypoint Spirits yet?  Meet, Michael, a long time friend with whom I've spent the happiest of hours.  On this particular day-drinking adventure we decided to check out Waypoint Spirits in Bloomfield.  The only bad thing about this place is that we didn't find it sooner!  They've been around since 2015, they make an array of handcrafted spirits; available in stores or in their taproom.  I highly recommend visiting the tap room!  They've got a great space and a friendly staff.  Plus a creative cocktail menu, a small food menu and tasting flights are available.  

If you order two flights you can get a sample of every spirit they make, so we tried them all.  Gins, vodkas, rum and whisky, everything was good.  My favorites were their gins followed closely by the vodkas.  The gin is uniquely flavored and tastes great on it's own or in a cocktail.  They also make fantastic canned cocktails you can take to-go.  Do not miss those!  Waypoint Spirits have become my go-to when I'm craving a cocktail and you should try them too!
