Have you been to Waypoint Spirits yet? Meet, Michael, a long time friend with whom I've spent the happiest of hours. On this particular day-drinking adventure we decided to check out Waypoint Spirits in Bloomfield. The only bad thing about this place is that we didn't find it sooner! They've been around since 2015, they make an array of handcrafted spirits; available in stores or in their taproom. I highly recommend visiting the tap room! They've got a great space and a friendly staff. Plus a creative cocktail menu, a small food menu and tasting flights are available.
If you order two flights you can get a sample of every spirit they make, so we tried them all. Gins, vodkas, rum and whisky, everything was good. My favorites were their gins followed closely by the vodkas. The gin is uniquely flavored and tastes great on it's own or in a cocktail. They also make fantastic canned cocktails you can take to-go. Do not miss those! Waypoint Spirits have become my go-to when I'm craving a cocktail and you should try them too!
