Meet Aaron and Moriah! This is one of those extra-special, heart warming ones for me. In this story, I'm not only the realtor, I'm also "Auntie Jessica". And little Moriah is all grown up and buying her first house. "I get so emotional, baby!" (Sing it like Whitney if you can!) I'll put my mushy feelings aside and share the important real estate details that I know you're all dying for. It is no big secret that the market is incredibly tough for buyers right now. Even buyers in the strongest position are having a hard time competing in these wild and crazy multiple offer situations. So when Aaron and Moriah wanted to start looking I was super nervous that we wouldn't be able to find something great for them and I really didn't want them to overpay for something crappy. They had some flexibility in their search area which was great. And after ruling out a few towns and refusing to overpay in certain areas we found a rough gem ready for them to polish in Thomaston. Good bones, great space, fantastic yard and location. And maybe they still overpaid just a bit (it's almost impossible not to!) but we did get the seller to pay for some of their closing costs which is UNHEARD-OF in this market. So I'm feeling pretty good about that! What really matters is they have a great new home where they can settle in and grow their family. I cannot wait for all the future family gatherings and fun I get to have at their new place! Congratulations Aaron and Moriah!
