It was an honor and a privilege to be able to deliver a delicious staff meal to the hardworking folks at Parkway Pavilion today. It felt so good to be able to do something small for the people who are doing so much to care for others during this turbulent time.

My mom has lived at Parkway Pavilion since 2009 so I have had plenty of time to absorb the ins, outs, ups and downs of nursing home life. I have a great deal of respect for all of the staff there. Their work is hard and probably often thankless.
Nursing homes have been hit hard by COVID-19 with many residents and staff getting sick. Family members and loved ones of the residents have not been allowed to visit for quite some time, which is hard for everyone. Staff and their families are squashing fear and anxiety every day for themselves and for those of us on the outside.
I am so, so happy that Parkway Pavilion is my nursing home family. They have been communicative, quick to take action and they’ve remained positive from the start. They are doing all they can to provide the best care possible for their residents and I would like to put the whole place on a pedestal and shine a spot light on them all. THANK YOU to everyone at Parkway Pavilion for all that you do every day.
