Moving is exciting and fun; you're getting a new place, maybe in a new town and you're looking forward to your new beginning there. It can also be stressful; the packing, the logistics, the job transfers... and that's under regular circumstances. What if you were also expecting your first baby and had a largish dog in the family?
Meet Heather & Mike, the proud parents-to-be, and Dice their fur baby!
When I first met Heather she was trying to plan a move from Salem, MA to a new rental home "somewhere" in CT. With a baby on the way and a doggy in the family, she wanted to move quickly and knew her options would be limited. We narrowed the search area, and found a few great houses that met the needs of their growing family. But then, two out of three of the homes we had scheduled to view were rented out from under us right before out appointments. The third was great, but the pet policy was listed as "negotiable". And negotiate we did! Heather and Mike were asked more questions about Dice than about themselves and were quick to provide answers and paperwork to support Dice's application as a pet tenant. Needless to say, he passed. Just look at that face!
