This one exceeded our wildest expectations.   We knew she'd be popular, but we didn't know HOW popular until we were underway.  Originally east-coasters, these guys tried the southwest, the mid-west, circled back to the northeast and finally decided home would be in the land of enchantment. Coming back east in 2019 right before the market went bananas worked in their favor and they have headed back out west with a tidy profit.  Thrilled for them as they start their next chapter in the desert!  

Meet Jake and Maggie!  Can we find a house, close and move before the new baby arrives?  YES, yes we can!  These two are not New England natives but were ready lay down some roots here.  Where they come from, houses aren't quite as old as they are here! So we knew we were looking for some version of newer construction or something that was newly remodeled.  We found the one in Tolland!  A 1970s house is practically new in CT!  But this one was also nicely updated recently.  With space for everyone, including a guest room for family from away to come stay, there was still room for a golf simulator!  Now Mom can rest and nest for a few days before the chaos starts again! This was a very special buyer client (you know who you are!).  On the surface, it looks like maybe he paid over asking price for this one.  BUT by bidding over, we were able to negotiate a seller concession toward closing costs that kept some money in this new homeowner's pocket.  Making it possible for him to not only buy a new house, but maybe a new La-Z-Boy too!  I was thrilled to participate in this one and truly believe that in this life, timing is EVERYTHING!  Congrats to you, SW!  

If you have been following along you already know who my favorite homebuyers are.  Meet Alec!  Alec is the newest member of my UNDER 25 CLUB!  He works hard, is a good a saver and has already crushed a goal most humans do not even attempt to achieve until they are 35-38 years old!  By the time he is that age, Alec will be rolling in equity!  I am thrilled to have been able to be a part of his homeownership journey.  Now I have to go get him some shades... you know why!
